As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven digital marketing expert to lead our web based marketing efforts, across Alexandra.co.uk and Alexdirect.co.uk, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand positioning.

Job Purpose

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy across all digital channels. This includes leading the strategy in relation to email marketing, promotions, social media, paid campaigns, database management, and new product launches. The role will work closely with key internal stakeholders to strengthen our brand presence and drive customer engagement and sales through digital marketing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency and clear differentiation between Alexandra Direct and Alexandra.co.uk.
  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Own and optimise email marketing strategy, focusing on automation, segmentation, and database growth.
  • Oversee social media planning and execution, ensuring brand alignment and engagement.
  • Work closely with the Ecommerce Manager and Range Manager to create and implement a promotional calendar
  • Lead the brand refresh project for Alexandra.co.uk, ensuring alignment with company vision and market trends.
  • Manage relationships with relevant marketing agencies and internal design teams to ensure impactful messaging.
  • Oversee paid digital marketing campaigns across social, programmatic, and display advertising.
  • Leverage analytics tools, including GA4 and Hotjar, to monitor campaign performance and optimise results.
  • Conduct competitor research and market analysis to identify new opportunities and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support the successful launch of new products and promotions.
  • Establish key marketing KPIs and use data-driven insights to refine strategy and improve ROI.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally in ecommerce or retail.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels, including email, paid social, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Hotjar, and other marketing performance tools.
  • Understanding of affiliate programs and programmatic/display advertising.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for driving innovation in digital marketing.
