Job Overview - salary £26,971.88

As a Telesales Executive, you will be focused on the customers operating within our Alexandra brand. You will be expected to contact new and existing customers in a targeted environment to generate leads and new business across a wide range of industries in the core sectors including Care Homes, Dentists, Vets, and Restaurants. The role will also incorporate outbound call support for key strategic projects or promotions.

This role will be predominantly on the telephone, making a high volume of outbound sales calls split across classic cold calls to new business and warmer follow ups to lapsed or existing customers. There could also be interaction via Teams and Outlook. This is a role which is equally reactive as proactive and there would be the opportunity for you to use your initiative and search for new opportunities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactive contacting of current and prospective customers to generate sales of our range of products

    • Promotion of our range of products via outbound phone calls
    • Cold calling potential customers and selling the company's products
    • Prioritising and proactively maximising all sales opportunities from outbound calls
    • Following up with past customers and cross selling products
    • Following up on leads generated by other departments
    • Delivering exceptional levels of customer service at all times

     

  • Progressing towards activity targets and KPI's

    • Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the Commercial Director.
    • Working to agreed KPI's and objectives

     

  • Researching the market and finding companies to target

    • Develop a detailed knowledge of target markets, through self generated research
    • Identification of companies to target through research

     

  • Maintain and update administration systems to ensure high levels of accuracy

    • Updating a CRM and inputting information on customers
    • Ensuring all KPI related data is updated in a timely and accurate way

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Essential

    • Coming from a B2B Sales background, you will be passionate and driven to meet targets and generate leads and ultimately sales.
    • Self-motivated and organised individual.
    • A positive attitude
    • Track record of achieving KPI’s and targets in a target driven environment
    • Outgoing with an ability to build rapport with people of all backgrounds.
    • Excellent communication and listening skills with a polite and friendly telephone manner
    • Tenacious and the ability to use your initiative

     

  • Desirable

    • Experience cold calling
    • Clothing or workwear background
    • Customer service experience
    • Work equally well on your own and within a team environment.

  • Monday - 09:00 - 17:30
  • Tuesday - 09:00 - 17:30
  • Wednesday - 09:00-17:30
  • Thursday - 09:00-17:30
  • Friday - 09:00 - 15:00
